Smutlancer Monthly Income and Revenue Report: November 2020

November was a good month in terms of income, revenue, and my smutlancing life. As we’re barreling towards the end of 2020 (which makes me think both, “Oh thank fucking gawd!” and “HOW?!”), a lot of plans are being made for what 2021 will look like. That’s reflected in my expenses more than anything, but there are plenty of plans that don’t involve spending (yet). Let’s jump into because there’s a lot here. November 2020 Income *A change I’ve made to this income report is to remove (or not include) income I’m not personally putting in my bank account even...

Smutlancer Monthly Income Report: July 2020

Of all the things on my mind in July, my income wasn’t really one of them. I’m well aware of my privilege here, although I’ve newly arrived at it. But it also means that whatever numbers are below will be a surprise to me — good or bad, so I have no immediate thoughts on what July was like. Other than a very long month.

Smutlancer Monthly Income Report: June 2020

June 2020 was better than June 2019 and yet, my net income has fallen several hundred dollars since the beginning of the year. Not sure if that means anything, but I only know it because I track my income each month. Smutlancer Monthly Income Report: March 2020

Before anyone asks what, if any, impact coronavirus has had on my smutlancer income, all I can say is, “I don’t know.” Why? Because these income reports are always a snapshot of the past. March income reflects work from February, before lockdowns, shutdowns, and serious self isolation really began. I just sent out invoices for March which you’ll see in early April, and so far that hasn’t changed much either. The real test will come in the next few weeks or so as brands begin to make decisions about future work they want done. Right now, I’m appreciating today, planning...

How I Earn My Smutlancer Income | 2020 Edition

In my income reports, I break down my income by “client work” which is further broken down between vanilla and sex/adult and as well as a list of revenue streams created by my content — blog, podcast, videos, other work. Let’s talk about what that means.

Smutlancer Monthly Income Report: January 2020

While my focus on 2020 is meant to be on my own projects, my clients seem to have had other plans. While you won’t see this in the January income, I’ve taken on multiple new projects offered by clients…because I like money and financial security. Plus John Brownstone and I are buying a new house in 2020.

Smutlancer Monthly Income Report: November 2019

The past several weeks have been a complete whirlwind — I blame the holidays. My primary focus is keeping my head above water, planning for 2020, and getting things done before my two week hiatus from all things blog/podcast/video. Even though we’re looking at November’s income here, I’m already excited for December because some promising things have been happening — that I hope will carry on into the new year. But first, let’s look at November 2019! November 2019 Income November income is primarily based on work completed in October. I bill clients on the last day of every month,...
