November felt busier than the numbers suggest but I’m also finding that product-based businesses don’t just take more money and space (for inventory). They also take a lot more time. Unlike writing an article – granted there’s research, writing, and editing time – product-based businesses need time for making the product, promoting the product, and packing/shipping. Having multiple revenue streams is a “best practice” when you work for yourself, so you’re not overly reliant on income from a single source. In the monthly review, Kayla takes a look at her streams of revenue as they change and (hopefully) grow over time — to see if the streams can become more balanced. Check out the March 2021 report.
The income/expenses report from the past few years has been important information to share, but it’s a bit boring to share the same list of numbers over and over again. Since I (Kayla) am focusing on revenue streams more than income, I’m switching things up and only focusing on those numbers in the updated monthly revenue report.
