On Starting and Stopping Projects

I haven’t met a smutlancer yet that wasn’t filled with ideas — and doubts about how to execute them. After last week’s episode, Molly and I sat down to discuss how we approach starting new things AND deciding when to stop ongoing projects. Tl, dr: It’s complicated.

Strap in for this week’s episode as we talked for a while!

In this episode:

  • A quick celebration of buying a new house with smutlancer income
  • Thinking about new projects and ideas
  • Deciding if we should start them and how
  • Putting projects on pause
  • Ending projects completely

I really like this episode, it kept it real throughout and went indepth on the topic. A lot of useful insight. For me, it was more confirmation and validation of things I’ve been thinking about for a long time, so it felt nice to hear the struggle of someone else going through the same things and thoughts.
